While the next elections seem to get closer as each activity of political candidates all point to 2023, Nigerians have been sharing opinions on the fact that so many people are buying the One Hundred Million Naira Presidential form, stipulated by the ruling APC Party and other parties as well.
A new development reports that the EFCC has veered into the situation and added that they will investigate the sources of the funds , several politicians have been using to purchase forms. However in many cases, these politicians have claimed that the forms came as a result of donations made by the supporters, EFCC’s chairman has made an official statement to clarify the situation. This investigation cuts across different political parties , as every individual from these parties is under the EFCC microscope.
“When it comes to the issue of monitoring election funds as well as candidates’ funds, that has to do with the work of INEC in this regard but, of course, we are working hand in gloves with INEC and other related agencies in that field to ensure that we follow the money, we know the source, whether it is legitimate or illegitimate because that is what concerns us,” he said.
