Nollywood Producer Reacts To Olu Jacobs Turning 80 – Love and Care For Your Wives

A popular nollywood producer and talent manager, Soso Soberekon, has reacted to the durable union of Nollywood giant, Olu Jacobs with his wife, Joke Silva.

This happened after Mr Olu celebrated his 80th birthday with a lot of accolades from the people that look up to him, his colleagues, several dignitaries, and Nigerians as a whole.

Apart from their excellent performance and conteibution to the development of the Nigerian movie industry, Olu Jacobs and his wife Joke Silva are respected for their undying, love and affection for each other.

Following this, Soberekon the nollywood producer advised men to always look after their wives in order to enjoy a blissful old age just like the honoured pair.

“Men, whatever you do, love and care for your wives. Side chics won’t be there at 75 and 80…A good wife is a blessing, especially at the odd hours of your life,” he wrote as a caption for the photos of the living legends that he shared.

Also, President Muhammadu Buhari, the current president of Nigeria, joined Nollywood and the whole of the entertainment industry in Nigeria and those abroad, to celebrate the movie icon, Mr Olu Jacobs, on his 80th birthday which was on Sunday, 11th July, 2022.

President Buhari’s birthday message was related in an announcement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, that was titled ‘President Buhari joins Nollywood in celebrating Olu Jacobs at 80.’

According to Mr Adesina, “The President felicitates with the Jacobs’ family, including the wife, also a renowned thespian, Joke Silva, and their friends on the auspicious occasion, which calls for thanksgiving for God’s care, guidance and protection.”

“President Buhari affirms the influence of the veteran actor on the film industry, setting a standard of professionalism that has attracted global recognition and awards, like the Lifetime Achievement Award conferred on him in 2016 by African Movie Academy Awards.”

Buhari also noted Olu Jacob’s top tier ability to interpret roles, simplify complicated issues and bring messages to the understanding of anybody, levelling cultural, ethnic and religious barriers to become a household name all over the country.

The President, therefore, prayed that the Almighty God will grant him better health, longer life and steadfastness in service to the Arts, God, and humanity.
