Nigerian Civil Aviation Airport congratulates Anambra for Umeri Airport

Obiano encourages all that the airport would commence it’s activities in April

A commendation was given by the DIRECTOR-GENERAL of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Nuhu Musa on the efforts of the Anambra state Government to the glorious completion of the ongoing Anambra International Airport, Umueri, in Anambra East Local Government Area.

This commendation was given yesterday by Captain Musa during an interview session with newsmen while having an inspection visit to the airport project. He was accompanied by Gov. Willie Obiano and other senior officials of the aviation regulatory agency.

Captain Musa described the governor’s dedication to the project as a display of pure and true intention of leaving an impactful and outstanding legacy through peerless governance.  He went further to say  that despite the current  hardship caused by the global pandemic, Gov. Obiano’s investments to the project still stands strong. This act serve as an example to all of an exceptional leadership.

He praised Anambra state as a whole stating that his administration has taken Anambra to another level while boasting of the infrastructures . He also commended the control tower and other facilities as one of the best of their kind in the country. Captain Musa emphasized that all facilities needed in a standard airport have been made available and put in place.

He pointed out that when launched, the airport would serve as a major source of economic boost in the state. He urged the people of Anambra to continue work with the governor in order to enjoy the good works and governance of his administration..

In response, Gov. Obiano put all minds at ease by stating that the airport will be functional by April.
