French President Emmanuel Macron has confirmed that Lagos, Nigeria, will host the next edition of the Forum Creation Africa in the second half of 2025. The announcement was made during a joint press briefing with Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Palais de l’ƉlysĆ©e in Paris, following a bilateral meeting between officials from both nations.

President Macron underscored the forum’s role as a key platform for enhancing collaboration between cultural and industrial leaders across Africa and globally.

ā€œWe have agreed with President Tinubu that the next edition of the Forum Creation Africa will be held in Lagos in the second half of 2025,ā€ Macron stated.

He further reflected on the success of the inaugural event in 2023, which brought together cultural figures from both countries and the wider African continent. ā€œThis event will continue to promote the growth of culture and industry,ā€ he added.

The forum, a significant initiative, aims to celebrate and boost the creative industries, a sector of great importance to both France and Nigeria. President Tinubu expressed his enthusiasm for the event, highlighting Lagos as a central hub for Africaā€™s vibrant cultural and creative sectors.

President Tinubu, alongside First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, arrived in Paris on Wednesday, November 27, for a three-day state visit aimed at strengthening Nigeria-France relations.
