Police in Ogun State have arrested a 32-year-old technician on Saturday for allegedly stabbing a union leader to death in the Agbado area of the state.
Police spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), stated at Ota Ogun State, yesterday that the suspect was arrested following a distress call received by the police.
He stated that one “Oluomo’’ reported that the victim, one Damilare Oladipupo, a.k.a “No Story’’, was stabbed to death at a hotel in the area.
He added that Oladipupo, 42, a member of an Ogun State transport union, was at the hotel to celebrate Christmas with the owner when he was stabbed to death.
“When the police got to the scene, it was gathered that the deceased was lured out of the hotel and stabbed on the chest, hand and face.
