The African Quality Academy will host the 11th edition of the African Quality Congress, African Quality Achievements Awards and Exhibition later this month at the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

This year’s theme, “Managing Quality for Growth, Innovation and Improvement,” focuses on advancing quality culture, standards and best practices across Africa. Organisers said the African Quality Congress has grown into a major continental forum that promotes professional engagement and a culture of continuous improvement.

“Each year, it brings together leaders from government, business and civil society to explore actionable strategies and elevate quality standards in both public and private sectors across Africa,” the organisers said in a statement on Sunday.

The African Quality Achievements Awards will recognise individuals, organisations and government bodies that have shown exceptional commitment to quality assurance, performance excellence and customer satisfaction. The awards celebrate achievements in applying quality metrics and best practices to planning, implementation and control systems that support both corporate and developmental goals.

A Quality Exhibition and Showcase will also take place at the event, highlighting quality-driven innovations, products and services. Participants will have the opportunity to boost brand visibility, engage with stakeholders and demonstrate leadership in quality excellence.

The awards are organised by the African Quality Academy in collaboration with the World Quality Alliance and supported by the Chartered Quality Institute in the United Kingdom. It has earned a reputation as one of Africa’s most respected platforms for honouring quality leadership and institutional development.

The 2025 edition of the African Quality Congress is expected to attract industry leaders, policymakers, development experts and quality professionals from across the continent.
