Sometimes , individuals who are given the rear opportunity to lead, immediately forget where they are coming from, instead they are scared to be associated with their own roots, because they think it depicts poverty ,forgetting that it makes their success story, and can serve as a vital tool in motivating a mind or two.

I really don’t understand how one individual gets so scared of getting broke ever again, and so they decide to result to burying funds that get rotten over time, or invest in countries abroad to avert the attention of Nigerians and the masses that voted them in. It is absurd to hear stories of how house helps, or aides steal large sums from our politicians over and over again, and you begin to wonder how many Central banks truly exist in our country.

While there are steps to boost the economic situation in Nigeria, certain industrialists have delved into other aspects of business, especially in oil and gas, some of them extended to renewable energy , this is to position the economy for futuristic postings in investment. One of such businesses is the construction of a refinery in Lagos by the Dangote Group.

However , it was reported that in the early hours the 28th of March, 2022, security operatives stopped an attempted attack on Dangote Refinery, which is located at the Lekki Free Trade Zone , Lagos State. The Police Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin , said the armed hoodlums were contained when they were attempting to steal already installed armored cables in the refinery. He gave the number of the attackers , about 20 in number and informed that they gained access through the lagoon side of the refinery.
