The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo ridiculed the People Democratic Party (PDP) over the crisis going on currently in the party.

Keyamo, who is also the spokesman for the all progressive party said the party has lost control over its own actions, but came every day to rescue Nigeria.

He said this on Wednesday via a Twitter post.

This was coming amid the development that the camp of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Wednesday, pulled out of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, insisting that the National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu, must resign before they could participate in campaign activities.

Using this as the base of his swipe, Keyamo wondered how the PDPā€™s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would lead the country when they cannot settle the partyā€™s internal crisis.

In his tweet, Keyamo said, ā€œThe PDP thatā€™s in crises because of its inability to control its billowing umbrella gathers every day and the first thing you hear them say is that they want to ā€˜rescueā€™ Nigeria; like a teenager whose legs cannot find the clutch of a car wanting to drive a trailer! ā€˜No be juju be that?ā€

According toĀ  source, Atiku on Wednesday said, ā€œOn the calls for the resignation or removal from office of our national chairman, however, I must reiterate what I have said severally in public and in private; the decision for Dr. Iyorchia Ayu to resign from office is personal to Dr. Ayu and, neither I nor anyone else can make that decision for him.ā€
