Johnny Depp

Following the legal battles between him and his ex-wife, Amber Heard, and his refusal to further feature in his long-time movie, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Johnny Depp is set to feature in a new film project “Jeanne du Barry.”

The cancel culture almost ruined his acting career due to the controversy, however, the Virginia Judge’s ruling in Johnny Depp’s favor was made public, and it got many people and companies changing their views on the situation.

Johnny Depp is now in Europe (Paris) for a three month shoot for the new historical drama by French director, Maiwenn. Filming is set to begin shortly.

He touched down in the city on Monday, 27 June and was accompanied into his hotel by security.

This project will make it Johnny’s first movie appearance in almost three years. In this movie, he will co-star Louis Garrel, Pierre Richard, and Noémie Lvovsky as photographer Eugene Smith.

This project will be supervised by Wild Bunch International. They will be in charge of the global sales and introducing the project to buyers in Berlin, at the Cannes market next month.

Depp will be playing the role of Louis XV, also known as The Beloved, who ruled for 59 years, the longest duration of time ever recorded in French history.

The story line is about the life of a woman who was born into a poor background her name was Jeanne Bécu. She arose fast by being a mistress to the monarch.

Some circumstances surfaced and Jeanne Bécu passed away. The much detested king ended up being charged with corruption and extramarital affairs.

This is a great relieve for the actor and the new improvement can help him ease back into the normal life that he is familiar with.
