However they have been reactions from members of PDP , Lagos Chapter and opposition party.

In like manner chieftain of the party, Dr. Adetokunbo Pearse, also excused himself when he was called to react.
“Please, I am in a meeting. I will call you back,” he said.
Another chieftain who preferred to be anonymous said, “All I can tell you is that I have lost interest and trust in Jandor.”
But the immediate past Publicity Secretary of the Party, Taofeek Gani, urged party members to take a chill pill and allow leaders of the party to handle the situation.
He said, “Those who are angry have the right, but if we fail to manage the situation well, we can as well mismanage it and destroy our chances.”
The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) also reacted to the nomination of pro actress, Funke Akindele. The spokesman of the party, Mr. Seye Oladejo in a statement said the choice of Akindele “underscores the unseriousness of Lagos state PDP.”
He referred to PDP’S choice as amusing,
“I was amused to read that the deputy governorship candidate said she was suspending her acting career for the elections whose result is highly predictable. I guess she’s suspending a lot more because she has been in the news of recent for all the wrong reasons.
Lagosians will certainly not allow governance to be turned to a needless experiment or a sitcom. Governance is serious business not a circus.
Congratulations in advance to the duo of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.”
