Easter is the day celebrated in Christianity which marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This festival is celebrated every year in the month of March, this year it will be celebrated on 27th of March. The week before easter is termed as Holy Week, containing the days of the Easter Triduum, that includes Maundy Thursday, which commemorate Last Supper and the Maundy, as well as Good Friday, which commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus. Christianity in the Western side it begins on Easter Sunday and lasts seven weeks, that ends on the coming of the fiftieth day. The season of Pascha, in Orthodoxy, starts on Pascha and ends with the coming of the fortieth day.

Perhaps the Easter is one of the most important holiday of the Christian faith. Christianity most iconic hallmarks have come from the Easter holiday, that includes the high holy days leading up to it – Holy Thursday and Good Friday: symbol of the crucifixion of Christ, the and Holy Communion, from the Last Supper. From the dead on Easter Sunday, Christians believe that Jesus triumphantly rose, which is three days after he was crucified.

At the beginning of spring Easter Sunday comes when the temperate zone arises from the deep sleep of winter, and there are signs everywhere of the earth creatures seemingly coming back to life. Giving us longer days the sun rises higher in the sky, everywhere plants start blossoming, also the chicks and bunnies start appearing everywhere, which is the reason that explains some of the more secular Easter traditions.
