Governor Soludo Visits Obi Of Onitsha With International Bodies.

Governor of Anambra state Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR visits Obi of Onitsha HRM Igwe Alfred Achebe’s palace with International Community and Development partners entourage.

Governor Soludo is an economics professor and he serves as the fifth democratic governor of Anambra state.


I’m his meeting with the His Majesty, Obi of Onitsha, the Governor introduced the United Nation System (UNS) in Nigeria and also the Resident/ Humanitarian Coordinator; Mr Mathias Schmale, before the UN chief, António Guterres Introduced all his entourage.

Igwe Dr Alfred Achebe welcomed the Governor and his entourage warmly introducing members of his reputable candidate, which consists of highly respected retired public servants, technocrats, successful business managers from both national and international services.

His Majesty gave brief history of Onitsha; the people, values and traditions while introducing two books to the visitors that contains the historic and cultural aspects of Onitsha written by him and other Onitsha writers.


He also appealed to the Governor to keep his promises and ensure that he looks into the needs of Onitsha people, as development can only be attained in Anambra when Onitsha is included.


The entourage headed to Okpoko and other Onitsha environs as the governor gives the state foreign and development partners a tour of Anambra state.

The governor of Anambra state have been seen on several occasions showing huge respect and honor to HRM Igwe Alfred Achebe.
