The beauty of democracy, is the opportunity for individuals to express their right to choose candidates who they desire to take up the affairs of their state for a period of four years . Each election has its own dimension and process attached to it , while in the past , many have advised there are modern practices that should be added to elections, in other to add clarity to the whole process, and give the results more acceptability.
It pertinent to add that, intentional steps are always taken to make elections better and give the general image of Nigeria, a positive balance. And in recent times , more technocrats are getting involved, one of which is the new Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo.
Representing the APGA party, the outgoing Governor Willie Obiano has handed to Charles Soludo, the former CBN Governor , in a ceremony that has been described rather as “Lowkey” , a slight difference from the past tenures as Charles Soludo is the sixth democratically elected governor.
