Tell us about yourself?

I am Chukwurah Francis Ofili, first in the family of six, from Ogboli Olosi village in Onitsha Anambra state and I am currently a student of University of Nigeria Nsukka studying Religion and cultural studies.

What does Golibe mean to you?

The word Golibe to me means Rejoice and celebrate in the goods things of life.

What made you decide to compete for the Face Of Golibe ?

Well I contested for the face of Golibe 2018 because I wanted to reach to the world and tell them about my home town and her rich cultural heritage and correct the impression that the legacy of education which she was known for is still in existence and not in extinction.

How did you feel when you won?

Actually in all honesty I never knew I would win. But when I was announced the winner I was not only flabbergasted, I was overwhelmed with joy. It was a truly exciting experience for me.

What do you love most about Onitsha?

Well I love my home town for her rich cultural heritage and benevolence to her dwellers.

What mark do you intend to leave as the Face of Golibe 2018?

I will try to the best of my capability to bring out and invest in the talent of the growing child in Onitsha.

What words do you have for the younger ones looking up to you?

 Well to the young ones looking up to me, I will only advice you to work hard and become independent not dependent. It is also important to always have the courage to face every obstacle that comes your way.
