A mystery fire has razed some parts of Nkwo Ogbe market in Ihiala, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.  The fire consumed goods worth millions of naira. The fire started from the clothes section of the market and extended to other areas of the market, including areas overlooking the highway.

“I just came back from Church when someone called my attention to the market fire. I rushed to the scene to see if my shop has been affected but thank God that my shop was safe.” Mr. Charles Obi, a provision store owner explained.

The candidate representing the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and Mr. Valentine Ozigbo have sent their condolences to those affected by the fire and promised to rebuild a more modern market.
