Security operatives have fired tear gas canisters at the protesters gathered at the Lekki Tollgate area of Lagos. According to reports, the protest, which commenced around 8am, went rowdy around 11am.

The protest is said to be in commemoration of the first year anniversary of the #EndSARS protests, which led to the death of many peaceful protesters as well as disruption of economic activities in the nation last year.
