Ecobank Nigeria, in collaboration with Qatar Airways, has honoured outstanding vendors at the just-concluded Oja Oge by Ecobank fair, a three-day fashion, beauty, and lifestyle event held in Lagos.
The fair, which spotlighted the creativity and resilience of local entrepreneurs, created a vibrant space for vendors to grow visibility, boost sales, and explore new markets.
The top-performing vendors were recognised with notable prizes. Goodness and Mercy Hair emerged as the overall winner, taking home a Qatar Airways Business Class ticket to any destination for recording the highest gross sales in value. Clandini was awarded an Economy Class ticket to any global location as the second-highest in gross sales. Accessories by Morgan received a ₦750,000 cash prize for having the highest volume of transactions.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Omoboye Odu, Head of SME Banking at Ecobank Nigeria, praised the participants for their creativity and product excellence. She also acknowledged Qatar Airways and other partners for their support in delivering a successful second edition of the pop-up fair.
“This fair exemplifies our ongoing commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs,” Odu said. “It provided vendors with a unique opportunity to showcase their offerings, attract new customers, forge valuable business connections, and explore broader markets.”
She added that the event played a key role in connecting emerging brands with local and international consumers.
Award recipients expressed appreciation for the recognition. A representative from Accessories by Morgan described the initiative as a game-changer for small businesses, noting its impact on business growth and exposure.
