The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has congratulated Justice Eberechi Nyesom-Wike, the wife of the FCT Minister, on her elevation to the position of Appeal Court Judge.
Justice Eberechi Nyesom-Wike was among the 22 newly appointed Justices of the Court of Appeal who were sworn in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, on Wednesday in Abuja.
In a congratulatory letter, Dr. Mahmoud praised Justice Nyesom-Wike for her invaluable contributions to the legal profession. She highlighted that this new role is a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding achievements. Dr. Mahmoud expressed confidence that Justice Nyesom-Wike’s wisdom and sound judgment will continue to positively impact the judicial system and uphold the rights and liberties of all individuals who come before her.

Dr. Mahmoud also noted that this appointment brings great pride not only to Justice Nyesom-Wike’s colleagues and peers but also to her family members, especially the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
