In line with the need to re-invent the ethical values of education, reading, research and learning all of which occupy a significant space in the development projects and initiatives of Hon. Agha Mba, Dr. Dave Nzekwu, the Chairman of Anambra State Internal Revenue Service has donated books to the Imeobi Onitsha Library.
The formal hand-over of the books, was done at the office of Hon. Patrick Agha Mba’s office, where he received Dr. Dave Nzekwu.
Leveraging on the fact that Onitsha had in the past, produced foremost leaders in all aspects of life, professions and disciplines. The Library facility is one of the human capital development projects and initiatives of Hon. Agha Mba.
Speaking at the hand-over, Dr. Dave Nzekwu emphasized on the importance of the library which will bring about positive human capital development; hence there’s the need for it to be visibly supported by all and sundry.
This act of generosity was acknowledged by Hon. Onochie Ozoma, the Secretary of Onitsha North LGA who gave the vote of thanks. Also, Hon. Onochie while thanking Dr. Dave Nzekwu for the kind gesture called on others to emulate his exemplary act by following in the same vein.
Dr. Dave Nzekwu evidently inherited philanthropy from his octogenarian father who is the Chairman of the Nzekwu Cares Foundation and was equally present at the presentation of books.
His Youthfulness Hon. Patrick Agha Mba, is the Capacity Chairman of Onitsha North Local Government.
