Nigeria’s former minister of Petroluem Diezani Alison- Madueke, was arrested in London today alongside four other people by the UK National Crime Agency on behalf of the Nigerian government.
She and the others were arrested for offences related to bribery and corruption being investigated by the UK National Crime Agency.
The Asokoro, Abuja home of former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, has not only been raided but also sealed by officials of EFCC. They were there this afternoon and stayed for a few hours. There are security operatives reportedly currently stationed at the palatial home.
Nigeria’s former petroleum minister Diezani Alison-Madueke has been released on bail after she was arrested on allegations of money laundering in London on Friday.
Alison-Madueke, who was arrested by the United Kingdom National Crime Agency is however mandated to report at Charing Cross Police Station on Monday after her passport was confiscated

It is understood that the Seizure Organised Crime Agency within the National Crimes Agency of the UK arrested Alison-Madueke and are probing the allegations against her.
