Nigerian Billionaire Ambassador Chief Antonio Deinde Fernandez is reportedly dead, the diamond merchant who was worth over $6billion died at the age of 82.

Chief Fernandez was born in Lagos, Nigeria in 1936. His oil company Petro Inett has interests in South Africa and Angola. He has also worked as Special Adviser to the President of Mozambique. He is also a permanent representative of the Cenral African republic to the United Nations.

He was formerly married to Aduke Fernandez, whom he divorced in July 2003 and married his last wife Halima in 2013.
He died yesterday in Belgium.
