The gradual decay of societal values cannot be envisaged because it is known that building an institution takes a whole process and many actors have their roles to play in making the desired plan manifest into a reality. As much as many people complain about certain things , experience has taught us that if we are able to start looking at solutions instead of dwelling on the problems , then the possibility of achieving peace and tranquillity is more realistic.

While we understand that the geographical coverage of Nigeria calls for more hands in sectors that affect the everyday lives of citizens of the country , from the economical front , so the social and security fronts , there’s a new surge of awareness that has given room to the creation of new security bodies to tackle the rising state of crimes in the society. We have new introduction of bodies like Amotekun , who have been been very active in recent months in handling security issues in Oyo State and other states in the West.

Another body which operates in the East is called Enubeagu security outfit , which has been set up to check the cases of ESN and unknown gunmen , who have terrorized the East via destruction of lives and properties, stringent rules and general ploys to distort the social and economic balance of States in the East.

According to a new report , Mr. Magnus Iganda , who is a commander in the mentioned Ebubeagu Security outfit , has been killed in Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. In drawing attention to it , the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Ezza North LGA, Mr. Emeka Nwonu , described the killing as shocking and barbaric , while calling on security agencies in the state to be intentional about fishing out the killers.
