Nollywood actor Samuel Ajibola popularly known as “Spiff” has quit the Johnsons after about 10 years on the TV series. Despite expressing that it was a tough decision the actor stated that “nothing lasts forever. Change is the only thing that is constant.”

Ajibola who made this known via his Instagram handle on May 7, 2021, said that he had sacrificed his time, dedicated his life as well as his God-given creativity to serving the “Spiff” character on The Johnson’s television series. Despite bringing happiness and joy to the African continent as well as bringing therapeutic healing to the bodies and minds of our people, the comic actor stressed that the character had fulfilled its purpose. “The time has finally come for me to move on and grow into other purposes as I am in search of new challenges and other ways to entertain our people through other various projects.”

Samuel Ajibola began acting in 1995 at the age of six when he got his first role in the Opa Williams-directed movie ‘Tears for Love’. He joined the Johnson’s TV series in 2012 when it commenced portraying the role “Spiff”. This got him more prominence launching him into bigger opportunities in the movie industry. The award-winning actor reiterated that his loyalty still remains with Multichoice and thanked them for allowing him to showcase one of the many sides of his limitless talents and his fans who gave him a sense of fulfilment in playing that character.
