A very industrious and renowned businessman from Anambra State, Mr. Obiora Okonkwo was born on December 1965 in Gombe, North- eastern part of Nigeria. He later moved to Anambra state where he hails from, Ogidi in Idemili North Local Government Area. While in Anambra, he obtained his basic education from Crowther Memorial Grammar School in Onitsha and subsequently at Boys High School for his WASC.

Mr.Obiora Okonkwo is the CEO of the parent company behind Abuja’s millions of naira investments, the company is The Dome, an ultra-modern activity center. In addition to being an Economist, Chartered Arbitrator and Mediator, Mr. Okonkwo also manages the affairs of many successful companies, such as Gistme Communications Limited, Solicom Engineering, Linora International Limited, Sagemetrics Limited, CareerNation New York, to name a few.
In early 2021, Mr. Okonkwo entered the multi-million-naira aviation industry under the official banner of the United Airlines of Nigeria with the airline’s fleet size encompassing four Embraer ERJ145LR aircrafts.
Despite all these achievements, Mr. Okonkwo has demonstrated he has the heart of his people by declaring his interest to run for the governorship election of Anambra State under the People’s Democratic Party. He is also dearly loved by his people who conferred on him the chieftancy title of Dikeora Ogidi.
