In discussing the possibility of Nigeria producing a female president, it is valid to talk about certain women that have turned their passions, into professions and have been able to break boundaries thereby making the nation proud. We have people in this category who have never imagined a political office, but we see that, in other to grow our country, we need to start involving technocrats that have been able to build something from our economic state and pursued their goals, and turning them into empires.
Many females humble beginnings and there are some who have empowered others to kick off with their own businesses, thereby becoming employers of Labour as well. This pattern of empowerment that touches the lives of the citizens directly, without religious, ethnic or sentimental ties, is a model that even the current government should even even adopt.
While the next elections is being prepared for, it has been reported that The wife of former Governor of Anambra State, Mrs. Obiano on April 4th , 2022 obtained the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Nomination forms to contest for the Anambra North Senatorial District seat in the next elections holding in 2023.
It is noted that the former First Lady had earlier declared her senatorial ambition and also formally apologised to Governor Charles Soludo and and other influential individuals about the incident between her and Mrs Bianca Ojukwu at the inauguration ceremony on March 17th 2022 in Anambra State.
