NEW SET OF INDUCTEES INTO THE BROADCASTER’S HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCED
Boniface Offokaja, Raymond Dokpesi, Yinka Craig and others to be inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame
A new batch of inductees to the Broadcasters Hall of Fame has been released by the Broadcasters Guild of Nigeria, BGN. The list includes two former Directors General of the FRCN, Dahiru Modibbo and George Bako, founder of Daar Communication: Raymond Dokpesi and two former Directors General of Voice of Nigeria, Yaya Abubakar and Taiwo Alimi. Others who made the list are James Audu, Patrick Ityoghe, Yinka Craig, Mike Enahoro John Chiahemen, Boniface Offorkaja, and Adebayo Faleti. The Broadcasters Hall of Fame, which was instituted three years ago, had Victor Badejo, Christopher,Kolade, Tom Adaba, Vincent Maduka and Abba Zoro were among the first set of inductees. Categories under which they were inducted were posthumous, living legends, pioneers, innovators and in recognition of individual contributions to the development and growth of the broadcasting sector in Nigeria.
