Sometimes , individuals who are given the rear opportunity to lead, immediately forget where they are coming from, instead they are scared to be associated with their own roots, because they think it depicts poverty ,forgetting that it makes their success story, and can serve as a vital tool in motivating a mind or two.

I really don’t understand how one individual gets so scared of getting broke ever again, and so they decide to result to burying funds that get rotten over time, or invest in countries abroad to avert the attention of Nigerians and the masses that voted them in. It is absurd to hear stories of how house helps, or aides steal large sums from our politicians over and over again, and you begin to wonder how many Central banks truly exist in our country.

In a recent report , it has been said that the councilors elected in Benue State have alleged that a strike is on the way which is a one-week protest in Makurdi, the state capital, due toĀ  the nonpayment of their furniture allowance . The councilors , under the umbrella of ā€œBenue State Councillorā€™s Forum 2020,ā€ emphasized on this notionĀ  in a letter to the Commissioner of Police in Benue State .Ā  The BSCF Chairman, Matthew Akosu and Secretary, Okita Robinson said the nonpayment of their allowance violated the provisions of the operation pre-exquisitesĀ  for elected councillors of local governments in the state as revived in June 2020.Ā
