For someone like Abraham Lincoln who tried so many times before achieving his goals, he believed in his process and learnt to become better as it went on, and at the end of the day, he is a point of reference in the world today, so many years after his death, because he showed the true meaning of what a process can help you achieve in the course of life, in Nigeria, we have some politicians that have kept trying to become governors of their different states, and as much as people always prefer to mock them, I honestly think it takes so much courage to fail, come back and try again because like I said, Life is a process, and we gain value from each experience we go through, if we are able to understand and look at the bigger picture.
While many governors are sharing their ambitions to take on new political offices, with the Governor of Rivers State, Wike also stating his intentions . Nyesom Wike, has been mocked by The founder of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo. He went on to describe Wike’s Ambition as a joke , asking if he looks like a potential president.
In the words of Asari Dokubo “It’s laughable that Wike wants to be President. Look at him, does he look like a president? Will Nigerians want a president like that?
“He himself should know that it’s not possible. Yes, everybody is entitled to contest; it’s our PVCs (Permanent Voter Cards) and we are going to examine the person.”Somebody carrying cutlass, somebody dancing on the street, is that the President you want?”
