Former Governor of the Central Bank, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, yesterday picked up picked the Gubernatorial nomination form of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), for the November 6, Anambra governorship election.
The event was held at the APGA national secretariat in Abuja, as top Anambra government circles, Government functionaries, politicians, Captains of industry and supporters were present to lend their support to the former CBN governor. While speaking, Prof. Soludo said picking the forms was a formal indication of his desire to run thanked the people for believing in him. He however, stressed that all hands must be on deck as it is the beginning of the processes to achieving success.

Also present at the event were top dignitaries including, representing Anambra East and West federal constituency, Honourable Chinedu Obidigwe, the Deputy Speaker, Anambra House of Assembly, Honourable Paschal Agbodike among others. They each noted that the support given to Professor Soludo was as a result his pedigree and their desire for continuity and good governance. The gubernatorial aspirant further took the guests to his residence for a grand reception.
