Dr. Victor Ike Oye, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has expressed optimism that the power of Christ’s resurrection would have extensive impact on Nigeria, especially at this time of critical challenges.

In his Easter message signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Barrister Tex Okechukwu; Dr. Oye prayed for the power of the resurrected Christ to cover our nation and shield it from destruction. He expressed optimism that the forty days of fasting, prayer and almsgiving by Christendom would touch the heart of God to have mercy on our country and save it from disintegration, strife and backwardness.

The APGA national boss called on all Nigerians to avoid sin, shun all forms of hatred and bigotry, and show love to one another, embrace peace and unity for a more peaceful co-existence.

He called for more tolerance among Nigerians despite religion, tribe and political differences, noting that Nigeria can achieve greatness by turning a new leaf and reconciling with one another, as ways of demonstrating in practical terms the lessons learned from Lent, Holy Week, and resurrection of Christ.

Chief Oye, who described the release of the State Commissioner for Public Utilities, Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne as the best Easter gift from God, prayed to God to continue to sustain his people in his love and mercy.
