On Thursday, 26th October 2017, Anambra state held a sport for persons with disabilities in the state. These people competed in Athletics, Discuss, Javelin, short-put track and field events amongst others.
It was fun filled as the crowd hailed and cheered the men while they competed at various sports. The event held at Otuocha Stadium in Anambra East local government area of the state.
The 3rd of November will be the grand finale of the sports jamboree with the governor of Anambra State, Governor Willie Obiano officially announcing the Winners. They will be awarded by the wife of the Governor, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano.
Meanwhile arrangements are in top gear for the staging of the 2017 Anambra State Governorship Golden Belt Boxing Championship that will involve the thirty-seven Governorship candidates.
The candidates will present their manifestos on that day.
