Anambra International Airport To Be Commissioned April 2021

Following the events of the official ceremony of Anambra Luxury Place Estate, Governor Willie Obiano has pegged April 2021 as the date for the commissioning of the Anambra International Cargo Airport, located at Umueri.
Speaking at the event which held on Thursday, he assured of the quality the airport will bring; saying that it will be one of the best in the country.

Meanwhile, the Anambra Luxury Place Estate is a public, private partnership project between Anambra state government and Rotech Energy Services Limited in Nkwelle, near Onitsha. The Governor also urged the people to invest in the estate as the Nkwelle G.R.A project, is just 10 minutes’ drive from the airport.
His words: ‘’The airport is just 10 minutes’ drive from here, and a few kilometres from Onitsha town. It is strategically located and is a worthwhile investment.”

Furthermore, he acknowledged Chief Austin Oguejiofor, the promoter of the project and Chairman/Chief Executive of Rotech Energy Services Ltd for regarding the Aku Luo Uno’. Also, he beckoned on other Ndi Anambra who have created wealth outside to consider reinvesting in the state.
Giving credence to the project is Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, who after inspection stated that the airport will be one of the best in the country when completed.
