Anambra East Traditional Support Obiano on Curfew and Condemn Social Media Attacks

It has been announced by the Anambra East Council of Traditional Rulers that it is completely against the various social media attacks, insults on the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano.

In the statement made,  a seven point communiqué was issued at the end of its meeting, held at Anambra East Local Government Council Headquarters Otuocha. The meeting took place while strictly observing all COVID-19 prevention protocols.

The communiqué unanimously signed by the traditional rulers of the six communities that make up the council area, congratulated Governor Obiano on the successful completion of the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport at Umueri as well as other projects within the council area.

They also endorsed and supported the curfew imposed by the governor on Igbariam, Aguleri, Umueri, Nteje, Awkwuzu and Umunya communities aimed at steaming the tide of insecurity, begging the indigenes to obey the curfew.
