Akunwata Ifeatu Albert Sokei, popularly known as ‘Terror,’ was born into Akunne Okagbue Albert and Umebe Sokei family of Ogbeotu village in Onitsha Anambra State on 9th April 1945.He went to Bishop Shannahan College (BSC) Orlu, Imo State.
He joined the Nigerian Army with the influence of his elder brother Louis Chude Sokei who was then a major in the Nigerian Airforce. Albert Ifeatu was fully involved and played a significant role on the January 15th, 1966, failed coup shortly before the Biafra war. He was made a major in Biafra, and he fought gallantly to survive Biafra at the Artillery unit.
After the war, He went to Bendel Metropolitan Technical College, where he got a Building Technology certificate before going into the construction business. He made several construction contracts with the old Anambra state in the construction of buildings, stalls, drainages, and culverts in different parts of the old Anambra State; and management of then ASESA(Anambra State Environmental Sanitation Authority

Albert Ifeatu Sokei was also active in Nigerian politics, where he contested for the seat of Onitsha Local Government with the likes of I. I Ekwerekwu, Theo Nzegwu, Ohanugo et al.
Till his death on 20th January 2001, he was a loving husband to Nwachinaemelu Obiageli Stella Sokei(nee Onyejekwe) and most caring father to his wonderful children.
Akunwata is a true definition of nwanne malu nwannie; his love for his siblings is priceless.
He was a member of the prestigious Agbalanze society of Onitsha.
During his last days on earth he gave his life to Christ and became a devoted Christian.
