Chief Superintendent of Police Rabiu Garba has received an award for his outstanding impact in the security sector at the Fourth Awards Ceremony and 25th Year Anniversary of AIT Digital Television.
The event was held at the Abuja Sheraton Hotel & Towers Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, where top dignitaries across Nigeria were celebrated for their immense contribution to the growth of Nigeria as a country and awarded.
Garba, who has shown exemplary policing and demonstrated professionalism over the years in handling a delicate situation such the EndSARS protest which earned him an award at the Security and Emergency Management Awards (SAEMA) 2020,
CSP Garba is said to be one of the most popular and most liked police officers in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra state today. Having been described as the Man of the People, Garba is the DPO Fegge Police Station Onitsha, Anambra State.

Also in attendance at the event were: Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, who received an award for Man of the Year on behalf of Rivers State Governor Nyesome Wike for his transformational leadership. The Governors of Osun, Borno and Delta States also bagged Outstanding Leadership in Public Service in Citizens Welfare, Peace and Security and Education respectively
