AIG Declares Anambra, Southeast Safest Place In The Country

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 13, Mr. Danmallam Mohammed has labelled South East and indeed, Anambra State as the safest state in the country.

AIG Danmallam made this known while receiving an award as Doyen of Security from the National President of RATTAWU, Comrade Kabir Garuba in company of his EXCO members and members of the South East leadership of the Union, who called on him at his Ukpo office.

WhileĀ receiving the award, AIG Danmallam acclaimed the spirit of comradeship and togetherness existing among people of the zone, which according to him is the reason, why business activities are booming, by this means, improving the economy of zone.

He specially commended Ndi Anambra for their resilience and support to securityĀ initiatives ofĀ  the present administration and all the security outfits in the state towards achieving water tight security in the zone.

Comrade GarubaĀ who also spoke explainedĀ  that they have been in Anambra State
for one week and deemed it necessary to show solidarity to the AIG and acknowledge him for all he is doing in the area of security.

Furthermore, he commended Governor Willie Obiano for making Anambra
State the safest in Nigeria affirming that they enjoyed the serenity and peaceful atmosphere.

The National Vice President of RATTAWU South East zone, Prince Emeka Kalu, earlier highlighted various activities that took place during the South East zonal Conference, where notable individuals were given awards.
Presentation of award and conference materials to the AIG including presentation of conference materials to some senior Police officers in the zone including the Public Relations Officer, DSP Nkeiruka Nwode featured during the visit.
