The African continent is seen the likes of Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela, Fela Anikulapo Kuti and many more. These individuals have been able to get into the history books due to their stand on upholding human rights and establishing a base for the development of their country men.
For Nelson Mandela, in the rise of Apartheid in the South African system, Nelson Mandela rose up to the challenge, building a force to check the place of Apartheid in the South African system, a decision that will see him serve a very long time in jail, then later coming out to become President of South Africa, and handed over after his tenure in office.
We saw the rise of Adams Oshiomhole , who was the NLC chairman to being a two times governor of Edo State. After being the chairman of the APC , it was recently reported that he was looking at a seat in the Senate. However , it has been reported that there are last minute changes, as he is prepared to declare his intention under the APC.
On the other hand , the former Governor of Akwa Ibom State and currently the Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, will declare his presidential bid on the 4th of May , 2022. This is slated to hold at a ceremony at Ikot Ekpene Stadium , Uyo. The Ekiti State Governor and the chairman of Nigerian Governors Forum, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, is also joining the race as he is set to declare his Ambition in FCT, Abuja.
