About 150 armed political thugs heading to Ekiti State for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary have been arrested by soldiers attached to the 32 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army.

The suspected political thugs were arrested at Ita Awure/Efon Junction in Efon Alaaye in Ekiti State. They have reportedly been transferred to Akure for interrogation.
