Onitsha Inaugural Youth Talent Hunt

The 2021 New Year’s Eve was very memorable as it gathered the youths of Onitsha for a talent hunt displayed on stage. The event featured a talk show, music, comedy, dancing, singing and rapping by different talented youths of Onitsha.

It was indeed a memorable experience. The organizers were The Great Anambra Youth Renaissance Initiative (GAYRI) and the host Hon. Eddy Ibuzo. He admonished youths to flee away from all social vices and develop their in born talent.

The President of the Great Anambra Youth Renaissance Initiative, Eloka Egunike said in an interview with journalists that the host brought the idea of organizing a talent hunt for young Onitsha people who have have potential skills in entertainment. He appreciated the governor of Anambra State for providing an opportunity for the youths to participate in such an event in his administration.

Eddy Ibuzo in his statement appreciated God on behalf of the youths and prayed to God to endow them with a vision and target in 2021.

Senior Special Assistant to Governor Anambra on Security Chiejina Obieze expressed his happiness in being able to raise a new breed of promising youths to take Onitsha to a greater level.

To mark the New Year, Fireworks were lighted and awards were given to a few commendable people in Onitsha as well as Chief Executive Officer Abada IwuChukwu Foundation (AIF) who was given an award of commitment in Onitsha.

The event ended with dancingand celebrations.
