Green Tower residents in Awka celebrate the end of the year with dance fest

Green Tower Lodge residents celebrated their yearly party for 2020. The major highlights for the event were cutting the Christmas cake and rewarding of best dancers.

The celebration commenced with collective opening prayers among the residence, praying to God for His continuous blessings, good health, guidance and protection upon them as they travel to their various homes.

Present at the celebration were the facility manager of the lodge, Mr. Chibuzor Umeghalu, lots of friends and well-wishers, including corp members.

At the celebration, the president of the lodge, Anthony Ihukor said the event was also an opportunity to jointly celebrate as grateful brothers and sisters to God from January to December, united as one family and with the spirit of oneness.

He appreciated all the residents for their collaboration and support, appealing to them to join in spreading in the Joy of their next celebrant of the year, Miss Chidimma Egwuogu as she weds ChukaOkoye on December 30 2020.

In his words, “for the fact that we are united, we are here with the spirit of oneness. I urge everyone to be in her wedding for our collective support. It is a thing of joy to mark our end of the year party today which enables us to remain united and love ourselves. I wish us all journey mercies to our various homes. We shall also return in peace after our holiday”.

During the event, Chidimma Nwosu and Benedict Udofah were rewarded by the caretaker and president of the lodge as best dancers.

Benedict Udofah in an interview showed her greatest gratitude and spoke of the residence as a place for social people.
