DE Erudite Communications Organizes Cultural Fiesta in Awka

In advancement of Igbo history, culture and arts, De Erudite Communications and multimedia Services organized a cultural fiesta. This event took place at the Oma Event Centre, Awka and ushered the inaugural launch of De Erudite Magazine and Ada Igbo Beauty pageant.

Celestine Anadi, the CEO, De Erudite Communications and Multimedia Services in his speech stated that the event and magazine production started because there was a need to tell and export African culture and history (especially Igbo culture). He also stated that it focuses on displaying Igbo heritage and potentials and to sustain he language, culture of the Igbo nation and to serve as a benchmark for generations to come.

Lorretta Akudo, one of the event organizers while speaking to the reporters encouraged the Igbo people to always uphold their identity with pride through their dress code, food and native language speaking. Furthermore, she motivated major entrepreneurs of Igbo extraction to invest back home in order to advance Igboland.

Ogunoegbunam Ifeanyi Okadigbo while giving details of the magazine and the ideas behind it stated that “The De Erudite Magazine was birth on documenting the history, culture, prospective tourism of Africa in general and Nigeria in focus. The De Erudite magazine is said to be the eye of Africa and to reveal Africa and Nigeria to the world. The magazine group comprises of group of young adults from across Anambra state cut out to cart a new course, to do things differently.”

The climax of the event were the cultural dance display by Igba Mmonwu, Ada Igbo Pageantry and launch of the magazine.
