The traditional ruler of Obosi in Idemili Nort Local Government Area of Anambra State, HRH Igwe Chukwudubem 111 of Obosi, has told the Obosi Community Administrative Panel of Inquiry into the Obosi community crisis, sitting in Awka, the state capital that he was not a cultist, neither was he involved in cultism.

Testifying before the panel, while led by his counsel, Chief Ositadinma  Nnadi, SAN, the traditional ruler  explained that he was not involved in any activity  or faction of Adike Peace Foundation, APF, and that he did own a hotel or joint were cocaine was sold or any illicit drug or hard drugs were sold or smoked.

The Igwe submitted a memo to the panel, entitled, ‘Chronicles of Atrocities Committed by Adike Peace Foundation, APF, Obosi,’ which was tendered and marked as exhibited 30, including petitions to Inspector General of Police, the state Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Government and other security agencies to assist in wiping out armed robbery, kidnapping, cults, gangsters, seizure of lands of families, which were sold, killing and maiming of people, as well as burning down of his fast food restaurant, all by the APF.

He recalled a personal encounter with APF in 2010 during which he put up a fight against the group, when he was  yet  to be made the traditional ruler, with support of prominent citizens of Obosi and the victims who were brutalized, terrorized and humiliated who he led to meet the Anambra State Government before the government banned APF.Read Here!
