Education is paramount to the government of Gov. Willie Obiano , equally important is the continuation of education partnership with christian missionaries in the state. He made this known when he was presenting cheques of =N= 217m addressed to the Archbishop Catholic Diocese (supposed to be Archdiocese) of Onitsha and =N=150m addressed to Province of the Niger, Anglican Communion. The financial support was to concretize the existing education partnership between state government and christian missionaries in the state, geared towards improving the standard and application of education in the state, hence maintaining the excellent educational standard that the state government has already established.
The fund was equitably issued according to the number of schools each of the religious denomination run. Gov. Obiano acknowledged how the funds of the previous year was judiciously spent, and promised continuous partnership to deliver quality education to Ndi Anambra.
