Following the arrest of five of it’s members, Movement For Actualisation Of Sovreign State Of Biafra (MASSOB)Ā gave 48hrs ultimatum yesterday to the millitary in Anambra state to release its members failure of which they vow to shut down the state. The regional administrator of the group for Nnewi-south L.G.A, Tony Nwodo made the proclamation In Onitsha. “We Will shut down Anambra State if the five of their members arrested are not releasd within 48hrs,”he Said. He named the arrested members as; Utu Area Adminstrator,eugene Odoh Friday Nwoye,sunday Amaechi,chuma Okonkwo and Ebuka Okolo. Explaining further Eugene Odoh was picked from his shop at no. 2 Chukwurah Street offĀ Awka Road Inland Town Onitsha .They stormed hiis shop with 6 Toyota Hilux trucks and a Siena SUV, they ransaked his shopĀ and =N=50,000 got missing and uptill now his whereabout andĀ others are unknown.The four others were picked from there homes and on the road without commiting any offence. He warned the millitary to beware of their actions. We will not take this if they are not released after 48hrs, we will show the millitary the stuff we are made of even If we are a non-violent body fighting to actualise a sovreign State Of Biafra,”he warned.
