Chigozie-Atuanya

Nigerian based fans and lovers of Nollywood actor, Chigozie Atuanya, are all geared up for the home premiere of his movie, Chetanna. The movie scooped four awards at Best of Nollywood (BON) 2015 Awards on Sunday.

Atuanya who is a celebrated son of Igbo-land in partnership with Stella Oduah Foundation will be premiering his first flick, a high budget blockbuster titled Chetanna in Awka, Anambra State. The Premiere will take place on Friday, December 18, 2015.

The movie which was directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka and features Queen Nwokoye, Ebube Nwagbo, Ebere Okaro, Obi Madubuogwo and Chigozie Atuanya, is the first of its kind in Nollywood; promoting the Igbo culture and tradition at its best.

Throwing more lights on the major reason they are taking the movie down to the East for its first Premiere, the movie producer, Chigozie Atuanya stressed that he is aiming at making history in Akwa.

‘’Well, as you know, Chetanna is a contemporary Igbo movie, so we decided to bring it down to our people in Awka, Anambra State, so they can be the first to watch the full film. Besides, it is like making history, nothing of such has ever happened in that State, so we want to cease the opportunity to bring more fun and excitement to our people at home. I’m a true son of the soil and always have my people at heart.”

“At the moment all hands are on deck to see that the movie premiere is a grand success. It’s not easy doing a big budget movie and as well premiering it home and abroad. Other movie lovers in different states close-to Anambra should come and have a feel of their own,” he said. Read Here!
